my 90lb dog ate a  whole beef rib bone 24 hours ago. is there anything i can do? will it pass?

Keep and eye out for him.
Most times, it will digest. But if he seems to be having trouble going poo, and becomes lathargic, get him to the vet.

you will definately see a mood change in a day or so. But at the first sign, don't wait to take him to the vets, you don't want anything inside tearing from pressure.

You don't mention if it was raw? Or what Breed of dog? Is he large enough to digest this? or is he obesse?
I wouldn't worry to much about beef, chicken though can splinter & puncture the intestines! If product was raw, parasites could develope.

You really need to keep an eye on that situation, and also contact your vet and get their advice to too...
Be safe and make all the inquiries you need....
You got a big guy there that probably chewed the bone okay, but sometimes bones splinner like razors and can cut up a stomach or intestines quick....hows the stool look so far, and is he pushing more food in and good stool coming out, or does the dog act any different since??? Lots of questions, but please do check w/you vet even if its just a phone call...
