hi my greyhound keeps licking two of his toes on one of hid font leg although i cant see anything i have been bathing with salt water and spraying savalon antiseptic spray he cried out yesterday and when we lookedhis toe was bleeding where the nail goes into the pad

it sounds as if it could just be an infection or the claw/ nail has been caught. keeping it clean is all i can sugggest, but if he begins to limp or shows any other signs of pain, i would suggest maybe the vet. best wishes, and hope he feels okay soon!

thank you for the advise i have been putting his paw in warm salt water and savlon antiseptic spray am going to give it a few more days then vets thanks again for the advice

He could have a split in the nail (like when a human breaks a nail down into the quick) and it's very painful for him.  He could also have something stuck in the pad that is so small that you can't see it.  I had a dog that had a minute piece of glass stuck in his pad and he was 3-legged lame until the vet did actual surgery to remove the glass.  I wouldn't give it even a few more days.  If he is still tender on it tomorrow I would call the bet by tomorrow afternoon.  There's a holiday this week, don't forget (if you're in the U.S.) and you don't want to let this run over into Thanksgiving because you might not be able to get hold of him at all.  Please let us know what the vet says.
