is my dog dying or just sick im scared!!

I'M SCARED i just wanna brake out and cry.he doesn't eat at all.  . Now, he doesn't seem to have the energy to get up. He would try to get up but his legs seems to be weak or something. I tried helping him up and everything but I don't know what is wrong. Just now, he got up to drink some water but I noticed that he was sort of limping. I'm really worried and I don't know what to do. Please help me figure out what could be the problem and why is he sick. Is he depressed? It would be hard to diagnose something that vague.  You really need to get him to a vet.  It could be anything, but if he is not eating that is not good.  Getting dehydrated is even more serious.  Why are you waiting??

Jessica, you need to tell your parents that your dog needs to go to a vet NOW.  There are emergency vets that are open when regular vet clinics are closed and if you look in the phone book you will see the ones in your area listed.  Look in the Yellow Pages under Veterinarians.  

I am very serious when I say that you need to tell your parents that to wait until Monday when the vets open after the weekend COULD be dangerous.  It would be best to go to an Emergency vet tonight (they are open all night) but if your parents won't do that, tell them you MUST take him to the vet tomorrow morning when the office opens.  That way you can find out what is wrong with him and begin getting him treatment for it.

How old is your dog, Jakedra?  What kind of dog is he?  How many days has it been since he wanted to eat?   Is he throwing up or does he have diarrhea?  Will he eat a dog cookie if you offer it to him or is he refusing to eat completely?  Does he take any medications for anything?  If you write back with the answers to these questions it might give some clues as to what the problem is.
