i have a rot weiler and she is 10 yrs old. she developed a huge lump on her nipple. It reaches from one nipple to another behind it. its soft and i dont know if it is a cyst or lesion. i will be taking her to get checked but i want to know what i will be looking for. it doesnt leak. its just a big soft lump.
I wish I could say for sure, but there is no way of knowing until you have a vet check it out. It could be anything from an infection, to a benign cyst to cancer. Animals get breast cancer just like people, so I hope you'll be taking her in very soon. Let us know what happens, OK? :-)
