Kudos to you for being on your toes and for not letting her go for days without finding out what the problem was.  Too many people do not take what appears to be a common tummy upset seriously and will let the dog go for day or even a week or more without taking them to the vet.  Most of the time it really IS just a common tummy upset, but there are other times when acting quickly can save your dog's life.

I'm really glad to hear that your girl seemed better the next day.  I hope she continues to improve and is back to her old self in no time!  :)

Thank you both this has been helpful i was so scared for her i ran to the emergency they gave her a shot for anti nausea and fluids under the skin next day seem to be better boiled some rice and chiken and will probably keep her on that for next couple of days :))

Ginger gave you good advice.  In decent health, the dog can easily go without food for 24 hours but still does need to have fluid intake.  You can then try giving the rice or boiled chicken and rice to see if that is tolerated.  Feed small amounts a few times a day rather then one or two big meals.
If this continues or the vomiting and diarrhea become worse, you definitely to consult your Vet.

Has she eaten something unusual? Has she drunk water from streams, creeks, puddles? How is she generally? Healthy -or what?
It's difficult to know what might have caused her tummy upset. It might be something very simple and it will quickly pass -or it might be a sign of some other illness...hard to tell. The best thing to do is withold all food, even the tiniest treat. But allow her access to as much fresh water as she needs. It's important that she does drink water, as vomiting and diarrhea causes dehydration. However if she starts vomiting the water, then the vet is needed.
Keep a close eye on her for anything getting worse, not better. If things get worse, and withholding food doesn't settle her, then take her straight to the vet.

Usually 24 hours without food does the trick with a simple tummy upset. If she improves, and shows interest in food after this time, start her with a small amount of plain boiled rice only. See if she keeps that down. If so, a few hours later you can give her some plain boiled chicken (no fat) with the rice, or some white fish.
