my dog having trouble with depth perception
I have a newfoundland mix who is aprox. 9 years old. He's a rescue so I'm not sure of his age, but I've had him for the past 7 years. My vet diagnosed him with an Iris cyst a year ago and said that there was nothing to worry about. Over the past week or so he seems to be having trouble with depth perception. When going down stairs he hesitates and refuses to go down the stairs completely if the lights are not on.
Is this a possible sign that he's developing glaucoma?
Thank you

Could be or cataracts maybe. No way to tell without an eye exam done by your Vet or an opthomologist.
