my dog is not eating

I have an 8 month chihuahua and he is not eating. he drinks water, barks, but seem with low energy.  What sdhould I do?

How long has he been like this ? if longer than a day its not a normal tummy upset.
Has he had his shots.If he hasent it could be the start of the parvo virus,so get him to the Vets as soon a possible.
If he has ! still go to the Vets as it could be many things as the sooner he gets looked at the better.

A dog that small has to eat more then the bigger dogs .SO you really have to try and get him to eat ..Boil some chicken add rice if you have any  and  see if you can get him to eat ..You can give a dog pepto bismol too If he is not any better call your vet in the morning

sounds silly, but have you tried sprinkling cat treats (gocat/whiskas) on top of the food, has always worked for ours
