kgren41, this is a pretty ancient thread. You will definitely get more response for your question if you start a whole new thread with what you are asking.

What you describe doesn't sound like symptoms of Parvo. Those symptoms are vomiting, diarrhea (with a dreadful smell) and inability to eat.
When he coughs, does he also vomit?

It is still possible that even with all the shots, Parvo can be contracted. There is a lot of protection with the shots, but it still can be possible.

But it does sound like maybe the kennel cough has not yet quite cleared?

I have never had a pet, but always wanted a little dog...my husband surprised me w/a Chihuahua from the humane society age 3 & all black w/brown spots around his feet! When he first came, he was sickly, coughing, not eating a lot, then not eating @ all...we took him to the vet & found out he had kennel cough! He has taken ALL his antibiotics, but still has a cough when he first wakes up! During the day, if he has a cough, he'll go off to a corner & cough , jump back up in my arms & is fine! I am now in live w/ this dog so him NOT sticking around is not an option! A dog @ my cousins had parvo & died...my Cocoa was around her, but he didn't want to play w/her...he was already on antibiotics & had just gotten all his shots....I'm taking him back to the vets next week, but I need an answer now! He goes everywhere w/me (I'm 48) even went to church & the mall! I needed him @ much @ he needed me! We don't holler or fuss @ him... you can tell that he was either abused or abandoned!

...Just as a thought....did he eat anything unusual? Or get fed any table scraps, particularly anything fatty? And are his bowel movements normal?

I'm sorry it's so long you had to wait for an answer.
You don't give much information. there could be lots of different reasons for his vomiting. Sometimes it's nothing serious, he could have eaten something bad, he could have a stomach virus (yes dogs get them) or drunk some bad water somewhere.
But it depends on how sick he is generally. If he keeps vomiting -say more than twice or three times, then take him straight away to the vet. If he doesn't want to walk or play,  is staying on his bed, same thing. If he is showing any signs of pain (shaking or shivering) or when he stands up, his back is hunched and his tail between his legs (that can mean abdominal pain)
Dogs can become dehydrated very quickly if they vomit too much. The worst thing is sometimes they crave water, then vomit it up, then drink again, and the same thing happens. That can be very dangerous because they are not keeping any fluids down.

Most times a dog eats something bad -it throws up maybe once maybe twice, and then after a few hours is just fine and back to normal. A good idea is to withhold all food for a while to give the stomach chance to settle. But make sure he does drink water.
Then when he feels like eating and seems ok, try some plain boiled chicken and rice (easily digestible) Don't give him too much at once. Try a small amount, then wait a few hours to see if he keeps it down. If so, and he seems hungry, give him some more.

But you have to be careful this vomiting doesn't mean something more serious. So please take him to the vet quickly if you have any doubts, or like I said, if he throws up more than twice or three times.
