I  have a 15 going ot 16  in few months  shitzu Ginger , she  has cushings disease for 9 yrs and a left  bad leg  high anxiety , and maybe bad teeth happening which she has not allowed ANYONE  near her mouth for about a yr or so . \\\i had a heart  prodecure done with heart pump 3 weeks ago  , and  had no choice but to put  her and my maltese  in a kennel which  was suppose to be  good. she  is use  to her home and  territory  as she got older. she was set in her  ways  let say. so  I noticed when I got her home with in a few days she seemed thinner  so I watched her  , she didn't eat  much and   was just  a bit off , I wondered if she was just worried about me , ? so  just last  Thursday  I noticed she was  not looking good so I took her in emergency   , they  kept her for 3 days and  4 vets  said she be ok to do iv , wheni went there on the 3rd night to  visit as they wanted  me to see if she would eat, since she wont eat anything for them I tried.. I saw in her eyes and when she  looked at  me crying which she never I s vocal or bossy , with in minutes she was out of it , I'm like omg  I called the doc in and he cme in to say , your dog is not going to make it and  she has all these problems    I said she want go home.  and  my dog seemed dopped up I  questioned why is my dog peeing on me whch she never does and  seems so high on something, doc then went on to say  she is hooked up to iv  is easy  to  do euthization  don't you think? I said I'm taking my dog  home thanks. paid my outrageous bill and took my baby home  where she has been calm since and  her  own vets who does sq. her buns when went in er was 60  when left  they were 30 my vet is hoping to  have them lower by  wed  he be happy in the 20 s I guess. ifnot he said well  you know ? I got what he was saying .. What I don't get  is why I'm here asking all you wonderful   people , how do you  know  its final  stage? with my  dog having so many  issues alziers, ect  I'm  not sure what  is what... he is what she is  doing  pacing  staring as if she hears something  , NOT  AT ALL EATING  except  when we had pizza  yesterday  she had all the pizza  crust... licks gravy  I have TRIED EVERYTHING  to feed her seems  she wants hard  food not soft , but hard dog food NOPE  not at all  wont touch any kind. she is  peeing a lot is that   good? she is drinking a lot is that good? oh  btw her pee is clear and lots  of it.. she don't vomit no diareeah, I don't know where her enegery comes from not eating for over 2 days  or more a decent meal. my other  dog 5 yrs old wont leave her but today he hides in his  bed which I find odd. I  NEED  help  I don't  know how to tell if she is suffering or not she don't shake not crys , just  ignores me  an wants nothing to  do with  me  only my husband which isn't home at night he is on midnights an  boy  her  stuff is at night pacing and walking around  looking  ect, she does like  it very dark . please anything otr some advice to   get  EAT... AND NOT PIZZA   .. thank you all so much
