Hmm, I'm not sure about his appetite. I also wanted to tell you our golden retriever had a reaction (itching) because of the hay he was in when we got him (he was raised in a barn with hay. Track his every move, see what he's laying in, playing with, etc.
If nothing pops up, take him to the vet.

Hmm, I'm not sure but I can tell you an issue that may be similar which my dog faced about a month ago. My dog is a 2 year old doberman/black lab mix. We took him to the vet because he was itching, had light dandruff. The vet said that he was having a allergic reaction to something (I'm in Philadelphia and about a month ago, spring was here and he was outside more). She said it could be anything outside, or in the air. She told us to change his food to one that had fish oil in it.
So far, so good. He hasnt been itching as much.
I would get him to the vet, and try changing his food to one with fish oil (they have it more of the expensive foods). Hopefully this may help alittle bit. I wish you and your best friend well!
