not eating.

well, the other day i fed my puppy a piece of chicken thinking he would just eat the meat around the bone and he ended up choking on the bone.. he had spit out some of the bone but i am concerned he might have damaged something in his throat. he hasnt been eating or drinking and he is becoming extremely skinny..  what do i do?

get your dog to the vet. Chicken bones are very dangerous.

For future reference, don't feed them small bones, cooked bones, onions, beware of certain house plants, and of course chocolate.

if your pup was choking on the bone something could seriously be wrong. The loss of appetite and weight is a very strong indicator. The tests aren't that expensive, but worth looking into to from the vet.

Let us know how the pup is later okay

Take him to a vet asap.  Dogs should never have chicken bones; they tend to splinter and get stuck in the dog's throat.

Let us know how it works out.
