puppy head injury

My 9 week old Beagle/Cocker Spaniel mix puppy suffered a head injury yesterday. She had gotten inside the rocker/recliner that my wife was sitting in she began whining and something in there came down on her head when my wife tried to get up. The Vet said she had a skull fracture among other things.The Vet told us to watch for seisures and swelling and to bring her back in 2 days. My question is what other syptoms (symptoms) should I watch for that would indicate a more serious problem?

What?!  Your puppy has a skull fracture and your vet sent her home?!  That just doesn't sound right to me, and were I in your shoes I'd be getting a second opinion pronto.  If there is bleeding in the brain that will cause seizures and swelling, the vet needs to know about it BEFORE it reaches the state of seizures.  Were any imagine studies done on your puppy, and what other treatments were offered?

He said that because the puppy was so small,( less than 3 lbs.), there wasn't much else we could do. He gave us some meds and we will take her back tomorrow.
