puppy w/ seizure-like episodes

I have a 4 month old lab pup. Since we've had him, (at 6 weeks old) he has had some "episodes." they started about 2-3 weeks after we got him.

The first 5 times the pup became listless, roaming, unresponsive. He just walked around and around, whether he was inside or outside. It's like he just couln't get comfortable. He didn't come when called, he was just "listless" (that's the only word I can find that describes his behavior.) He was also a little wobbly.

Now, at 4 months of age, he has an episode where we fond him drooling exessively, walking along the fenceline to keep his balance and he ran into everything. fences walls.

The episodes seem to be getting worse. Any ideas?

Whit

I got hom from a family breeder (that we know personally). I took him to the vet thursday (yesterday), and we are just waiting on the CBC to get back next week. Everything is kind of up in the air. The pup has been fine for 24 hours, no symptoms or weirdness...just normal. but i'm keeping a close eye on him, and he's taking some antibiotics (b/c they think it could be caused by his liver not functioning properly).

Did you get him from a family, a breeder or pet store?   If a family or breeder I would contact them to see if there is a history of seizures or disorder with either parents or any problems with puppies from the same litter.    Have you taken him to the  vet?   If not I would make it a priority.
