sick dog

My 6 year old golden retriver has not been eating for a week. She is drinking water. But she throws up alot. She also has bloody, runny poop.We cant afford to take her to the vet. Anything we can do for her?

Your dog sounds very sick and needs help immediately.  A suggestion on another post that was very good was to possibly take your computer to a pawn shop and get money for the vet that way.

Sometimes I know it can be hard getting a vet to do a payment plan for you. But call as many vets as you can, and ask them. Tell them your dog is very sick and maybe someone in your area can advise you. It's hard when you don't have much money. I do know. But I know it's too late to say this now, but it's always necessary to plan for the future when you have a pet, maybe put savings aside, even a little a week can help to cover a sudden vet bill sometime in the future.
Another thought. Is there any family member who would be willing to lend you something for this emergency? Or could you get help from the bank? I have a very low income, but have an overdraft facility at my bank (there's a little more available for an arranged overdraft than there is for just getting overdrawn without arrangement. Of course I'm in UK and there are different ways of doing things here. But maybe there is something like that which will help you?

Oh my dear it sounds very bad as she is most probably bleeding inside.Try and keep her warm and make sure she has somewhere to lie down that is really comfortable.Hopefully she will sleep and heal.But you do know that she needs the vet desperately.Can you go to the local newspaper and get them to do a story on her plight that way you would get plenty  of offers of help.
                                                                Or mabye pay off the Vets bill a bit at a time.Most Vets would have a payment plan.
