skin tag?

I have an 8 year old pug who has been totally healthy since birth. I noticed a small pink skin tag about 2 months ago. 2 days ago I noticed that it is considerably larger. it is on his stomach and does not bother him at all. Should I be concerned?

Our Akita gets them but if they don't bother her, the vet suggests leaving them alone.

BTW - I like your name; we have a lhasa apso named Hoss.  His favorite song is "Bonanza"  = )

I don't think so. My Min Pin has skin tags. When she has to go to the vet for this or that, or one of our other dogs goes, I'll take her along if she has a new one somewhere, just to have it looked at. As long as it isn't bothering the dog, or in a place that can be a problem they don't usually do anything for them. I just like getting the vet's verification that that is all it is. Penny has one that has been slowly getting bigger on her eyelid. That one may need to be removed. If you need to take him to the vet or go to the vet for anything else ask if they can just have a quick look. If it really is nagging at you, then I would make an appointment.
