The swollen gland most likely means there has been some slight infection in the wound. Nearby glands usually do swell if there is any infection going on. That's quite natural, as the gland is working hard, doing its job to stop the infection spreading through the body. The gland will probably be tender.
Hopefully as the antibiotics start to take care of any infection,  the gland will gradually go down again. That's what usually happens.
But I would say if you see any other symptoms in your dog, or if this infection doesn't seem to be clearing up take your dog straight away to the vet. Otherwise it may be OK to wait till Thursday. But do continue with the antibiotics, and complete the course of tablets till they are finished.
