Sometimes dogs just get obsessed with things for no reason at all. Just tell him "no" when he barks and make him stop. Then take him out of the room and bring him back in and tell him "no" again if he barks. Eventually he will stop barking I think. Be consistent

Border collies are so smart that yours would probably pull it out itself...if it had thumbs!

Pull the TV cabinet out and look under it or behind it - something is driving your dogs nuts - then move the cabinet to a different location and see if that helps - if the dogs still barks at it - maybe it smells funny - so I would clean it all over, don't know what it is made up..- also unplug it and see if it is the buzz the above poster mentioned........and if worse comes to worse, get a different cabinet.

Good morning!
Is it possible that there is something in the cabinet that is attracting his attention?  Know border collies, he's trying to tell you something.  It could also be the very soft buzz that is always present in a tv that has an "instant on".  Would you be able to pull the tv out of the cabinet to check behind it?  Just a suggestion.  We had a very sweet border collie for nearly 17 years.  An amazing breed. Good luck!
peace,
Anne
