Does my daughter look like she might have DS?

Hi,

My daughter has been born a month ago. She was very underweight below 2%. She is growing well. Midwives keep telling us she is developing at a good rate. But I can't help but wonder. For example, she has a single palmar crease on her right hand.

Anyway, I am posting a picture. I will always love her more than anything in the world. I just don't want to be shocked...

Thanks.

My family thought I had down syndrome when I was a baby but they took me to a doctor and he assured them that I don't. I suggest you do the same not only for the peace of your mind but also if the baby turned out to have you would know how to deal with it head on and receive the proper guidance

I don't see a picture but i would think you Dr would have noticed immediately and ordered a genetic test done. if you are concerned ask your Dr and see if he/she recommends it or request one. hope this helps a little.
