My son take things and moves them tells me he's cleaning. Took all the cloths out of his drawers. I made him put them all back or we weren't going trick or treating and he did. I was shocked that worked. He hasn't touched the cloths since. He's 15 .and puberty has made him aggressive. Hits me and himself. I stay clear of him when he's in that frame till he's calmer and try to figure it out, if he's still acting out I walk away and ignore him. You may have a mess to pick up or you can leave it till he's calm and make him do it. Ignoring the bad behavior works best. Your son may be bored. See if you can hire a kid from school to play with him release some energy..my son would also turn on all the lights I'd turn them off when he left the room he gave up that game after a while. He really sounds bored to me....find something he likes to do. My sons like to write its gibberish but hell do it for hours he says he's going to work. He likes to dance to music and sing. I got him a microphone haha my neighbors prob want to shoot me. He likes the band big time rush. At 13 toys aren't much fun anymore.find new things he likes. Get him off meds prob making him worse.

Is your son on any medicine now?  Certain medicines seem to make my son's behavior worse.  My son is 16 and he rocks back and forth, but he has been doing that for years.    Does your son talk?  If he is nonverbal he may be frustrated not being able to communicate.  My son is nonverbal and gets frustrated when not being able to communicate and acts out.  Add hormones to the mix and that could explain the anger.  Plus if he's reacting to the medicines or the medicines aren't working, that could be making it worse.   My son is not diagnosed as autistic but I believe he is, as he shows several signs of autism, such as rocking back and forth, lining things up, resistance to change and he is non-verbal. Plus my son has seizures which is more prevalent in autistic kids.    I think your son may be autistic even though they say he's not, and that has a lot to do with his behavior.  It could explain why the medicine isn't working.  If you have an autism center in your state please take him there so they can test him.  Then you will know for sure
