Have they checked your blood calcium level regarding your teeth? Also, if you are having teeth decay, have they checked your kidney function lately to make sure you don't have reduced function?
My sibling and I have P.O.T.S., only I have I.S.T. also and my sibling has fibromyalgia and have been diagnosed with N.C.S. too.
Wow I have lupus, sjogrens and ans dysfunction , it has been a real trial lately. I have nueropathy, weakness, and teeth cracking and falling out even when I took such good care of them...now they don't know if I am even stable enough for surgery because of my Bp issues, I also have temperature days regulation..let me know if you find out anything...also we are about the same age
Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and autoimmune dysfunction are often linked to autonomic dysfunction. Do you have a specific autonomic dysfunction dx? Did you have the tilt table test? It would seem that the autonomic dysfunction is the source of the black outs as many people here on the forum report light headedness then fainting with their hypotensive episodes. The threshold for this might be altered by flare ups in your lupus.
For sure you have a lot on your plate and have a lot to juggle when trying to keep your body as noramlized as you can. I have not had enough testing to know for sure all I have but am being treated for extremely dry eyes now with steriod drops and restasis and have pure autonomic failure. I haven't had more then the tilt test in autonomic testing but will have more in late January. I do have neuropathy and Hashimotos and Raynaud's diagnosed as well as having SICCA symptoms. Maybe after my visit to the autonomic testing center and getting more testing I will know more. Marie
