Can Autoimmune Autonomic Neuropathy get better?

Does anyone know if autoimmune autonomic neuropathy can get better? We thought for sure this autonomic neuropathy was secondary from the infection I developed in my lungs five years ago, but I guess that just made the Autoimmune Autonomic Neuropathy worse.( I didn't know I had it my whole life, but it sure answers a lot of weird episodes since I was a young girl)  But I do have some better days since we have the infection and other thyroid issues under control,(I was very close to not making it, so when I say good days...I still have the pain, fatique, headaches, pressure and just plain ole sick feeling, but feel I am having a few more good days than I used to.  But doc gave me strict orders to exercise and do yoga in order to keep my muscles healthy, but that almost seems to worsen the strange feeling in the back of my neck and head, causing a bit of that old panic feeling, heaviness and flushing in my brain. Like an overstimulated feeling...sort of a buzzing feeling. I guess my fight or flight gets stuck is what I was told.  Anyhow I can't find a lot of people who have this.  Hopefully they are out living their lives. But can this go away or get better if it is autoimmune?  Thanks for all of your time.

I haven't been tested for it.  But when you talk about the back of your head and neck- have they ever checked your spine to be sure your spinal cord isn't being pinched at that crucial top part?  And have they ever checked your brain for Chiari malformation?  I'm concerned if a doctor downright mandated yoga- some of us would not heed that strict order owing to Christian beliefs.

If you feel certain exercises are making your neck/head worse, I'd recommend seeing a physical therapist or chiropractor (careful who you pick with those) for their advice on certain types of head and neck movements.  The last thing you need is to feel worse and the top two cervical vertabrae are so crucial.  You don't want to be impinging on something that would cause you to feel even worse than you now do!
