Does anyone get major flare ups? Seems like rapid progression.

I am a 39 year old female with diagnosed eczema, alopecia areata, high blood pressure, migraines, increased sweating, widespread musical and joint pain. About 3 months ago I was diagnosed with peripheral nueropathy to both feet. I am not diabetic. I was prescribed gabapentin, total of 700 mg a day. Gabapentin worked for a month or 2. Recently I have had a 5 day "flare up" in which the pins and needles and burning sensation seems to be traveling to boys of my knees. After the couple days of burning pain, heaviness and pins and needles I now have stiffness and pain in both knees and ankles/ feet and widespread muscle pain, and fatigue. I have also noticed that after sitting for awhile that I am a little off balance standing up. I am waiting for a rheumatologist referral.

Is it possible for it to progress this fast (within 3 months)? And does anyone else get the widespread muscle and joint pain?
