Is there a connection between POTS and the lymphatic system?

Does anyone who have POTS also have swelling in the hands or feet?

Yes, I have swelling in my hands and feet, and the official medical explanation is that it's because I have a big blood pooling problem.  However, I also have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease which commonly causes lymphedema.  This same autoimmune disease is also responsible for destroying my autonomic nerves, so it's possible that regular lymph swelling could be a sign that the POTS is autoimmune related.  Check out a map of the lymph system online, and keep an eye out for swelling in those areas when the POTS is bad.  Also, a regular or recurring low-grade fever is a good sign of an immune problem.  I hope that makes some sense; I'm still adjusting my dose of Lyrica and pretty loopy!
