Thank you for the information, Marie. I'll check into this and let others know if I find a helpful resource.
Dr. Friday also works at the VA in Palo Alto, but you would have to be a veteran to see her there (she does cardiology there, not POTS patients).
There is a neurologist listed at UCSF as someone who treats this area. I know nothing about him but will send you a link where you can look up more about his qualifications. A query by phone or email to UCSF would be important as well as review of other patients recommendations, often found on line. I would like to note too that some doctors who work at two locations accept different insurances at those locations. For instance your insurance might not be accepted at one site but will be at another. You may want to check out Dr. Fridays other locations as well. Double check insurances accepted for sure before making an appt. The west coast is a bit deficient in the treatment of autonomic dysfunction. The Mayo clinic in Phoenix/Scottsdale is another resort if you don't find anyone closer. Good luck and let us know if you find someone you like! Marie

There is a POTS specialist at Stanford which is about 2 hours away. Her name is Dr. Karen Friday. I think she's a pretty good doctor however she is very hard to get into see as she only works at Stanford 1 morning a week.
