New at this

I just happened upon this site as I am looking for answers.  Two weeks ago I became immediately sick at work.  I got dizzy, sick to my stomach, tunnel vision, and it seemed very noisy (droning of bees).  I tried to get home but pulled over and opened the door to be sick.  I lost consciousness, lost control (of everything), fell out of the car and was found on the road unconscious.  It appears I may have been out for about 5 minutes. I was taken to the hospital and my right hand was contracted for approx. 3 hours.  Now (back at work) I find that holding a pen is a little painful.  I have some nerve damage (I think) where I fell on my face. I feel as though there are cobwebs on my face. My CT and MRI scans are okay.  My EEG is okay.  Still waiting on the echocardiogram results.
Any thoughts?

I'm sorry to hear about this frightening episode.  Although these symptoms could be dysautonomia related, I would jump to that conclusion just yet.  Have any of these symptoms reoccurred since your original episode?

I'm glad to hear your CT, MRI, and EEG were all negative.  You mentioned an Echo, has your doctor given you an EKG as well?  An EKG could test for heart rhythm abnormalities.

Additionally, certain diseases of the inner ear can cause some of the symptoms you mentioned as well.  I wish for you the best of luck, and I hope you are feeling better.

Thank you for commenting.  I will mention the inner ear to my doctor when I see him again next week.  I've been feeling pretty good, just a little anxious about the symptoms.  I need to drive some 500+ miles next week.
