Not doing very well

Hey gang,

I haven't been able to be typing much on the computer.  I'm taking a "holiday" off a few of my meds, and I'm not sure if that's contributing to my problems or making things better.  (A few things do seemed improved, actually.)  Nausea and dizziness have been awful, though, but that may be in great part due to the rising temperatures.  I'm growing more and more married to my air conditioner by the day.  (I'm probably not alone in that, I suppose.)

I wanted to pop in because I know the subject of medical IDs crops up here now and again and there's a $5 off deal at the site where I get mine right now if anyone is interested in checking them out.  For those who haven't heard me rave about them (I can't help it, I'm a huge fan of theirs ... your mileage may vary), my big selling point with them is that their warranty covers FREE re-engraving anytime it's under warranty if you have a change in your diagnosis or meds or drug allergies or whatever that causes your MedID to need to be changed in order to remain accurate.  If you're anything like me, this happens more often than you'd like!  I've only paid for about half of my MedIDs because the other half I got as free changes under my warranties!!  So yeah, I love the company for that!  Anyway, here's the link they said is good for the $5 coupon ... I hope it works if you copy and paste it into your browser ...

Get $5.00 off your order with this friends and family rebate.  http://curebit.com/o/d/QL1Gl

I don't know if there's an expiration date on that rebate offer, but I just got that from them today so it's at least current now.

I'm seeing my doc on Thursday and hoping to find out why I haven't heard a peep on the GI consult she put in for me.  Having to go off the Reglan due to side effects has left me hanging with miserable symptoms and nothing really to do about it.  I hate when consults take FOREVER to go through.  Boo on that.  I'm also getting really irritated with the spasms in my feet.

Well, I'm trying to overcome a bad bout of insomnia so I better try to sleep if I possibly can.  I hope you are all hanging in there.  Best,
Heiferly.

Its just the meds... I wish I hadn't listened to all my doctors trying so many different medications. I didn't even realize my illness was getting worse as the meds tricked me until a few months ago.

Heiferly,
Thanks for checking in. Have been worried about you. I am sorry you aren't feeling well. Waiting for consults are so frustrating. I always say you will either be healed or dead by the time you get in.lol

I hope your holiday from Meds helps you. Due to the rising costs I would love to be able to try that for awhile. They just seem to want to add more though.

Also thanks for the information on med IDs. I use medic alert right now. It works ok as I have so much information it can't all fit so that's kept up to date for medical personnel to call and get. It does have a cost though and free sounds so good.
You take care and stay by ac. I know I sure will be glued to it this summer.

Oh no, I'm so sorry you're feeling bad :(  I can understand going off meds; I did that hoping it would help clear my body of them and when I restarted it would work great again - maybe yours will help.

it's frustrating waiting on things to go through when we're feeling so bad, hopefully you'll get some answers soon and get some help

take care of yourself, rest well and enjoy the AC =) here in FL we're spoiled we have to use the ac year round .
