I thought some of these might be worth a laugh if nothing else ... interesting ideas, though I don't know how practical any of them would be or if they'd even work at all.  (And some of the prices ... ouch!)  But in honor of so many of us battling the heat this time of year:

  I've never seen that cooling glove before but they say it got an award for use with MS patients, so I'm guessing it would be helpful with dysauto as well.  The price isn't even mentioned on the website, though, so I imagine it may be astronomical?  Here's that website if anyone else is curious:  http://avacore.com/ms.html

The outdoor air conditioner is just hilarious!  Sometimes I just so wish I could air condition the entire outdoor world to my liking!  That would be great!  Then I could actually go outside whenever I wanted!

The air conditioned mattress is actually kind of...  "Cool"...  I'm not sure how comfortable it the apparatus itself would be, but the idea seems neat.

I liked the link with lots of personal cooling gadgets.  That was an awesome link!  Thank you so much for sharing!

That's awesome to hear that the cooling vest is working out for you!  It's good to get feedback on out-of-pocket purchases so people have a better idea of where it's wise to splurge and where it isn't.
