We have lots of POTS patients here in our forum, although it seems a little quiet here lately so it may take a while to get more responses.  Some of us do have other forms of autonomic dysfunction (also known as "dysautonomia") besides POTS, but you may notice that there is often some level of overlap in symptoms between the different forms of dysautonomia so you can often relate to other patients even if they don't have the same exact form of autonomic dysfunction that you have.

So when you went into asystole during your first tilt table test, you had to be resuscitated?!  If this is too personal, please feel free not to answer, I'm just curious because it's unusual for a person not to spontaneously recover once the table is returned to supine position.  Was your heart in asystole or did they say you went into some other unstable rhythm (like v-tach)?  Did they have to do CPR or use the paddles or what to bring you back?  Why would they do three if something that serious happened on the first tilt table test?  When were the other two?  Were they done by the same doctor that did the first one?

Have you had other autonomic testing besides the TTT?  Do you have a pacemaker or defibrillator, or has one been recommended for you?

Welcome to our community!  I hope you find the support and answers you're looking for here.
