Pulse rate when standing, up 30bpm, does this sound like PoTS ?

Over the last few months I have found every time I stand up from sitting I feel almost like I will pass out, sometimes it is not so bad while other times, especially in softer chairs, I have to grit my teeth and stand still for 30 seconds or so before I can move on. I have tested my pulse before and after sitting, and I find it jumps up between 20 and 30bpm, but only for the first minute, it goes back down soon after. My DIA blood pressure will also increase by about 20. For instance, earlier I checked I was 125sys / 79dia with pulse of 80. When testing within 30 seconds of standing up my change was 130sys /101dia with pulse of 114.

However, I am big at 24 stone, although the odd thing is I have lost 9 stone this year and this didn't happen when I was bigger. I have not felt all that well over the last year either, which was what shocked me in to losing weight. I have had headaches, blurry vision, queasy feelings, and dizziness. Lots of this points to PoTS but my pulse seems to go back to normal a minute after standing, I hear this is not the case with those with PoTS. Also maybe my size makes it normal to take such a effort with blood and pulse to get me up from sitting.

I have other issues, like I can't ride in elevators as my gravity is all off when I get out, and if I am lying on my bed and the phone rings, I can never get there in time because if I do get up then my gravity again feels off and I feel like I am being squashed from above, this is reduced if I sit on edge of bed then get up after a minute or two. I am also incredibly stressed due to my concern over health and the future.

I have only found out about PoTS this week, so not been to my doctor about it yet, but I just wondered if what I have could be a possibility of PoTS, or have I mentioned anything that rules this out ? Or maybe some other Autonomic Dysfunction ? I don't expect a diagnosis here, just general thoughts and comments on what you think.

Another example within the last hour is 147sys over 84dia with pulse of 72. Within a minute of standing it goes to 169sys over 107dia with pulse of 100.

Thanks for any advice.

All your symptoms lead to POTS my daughter was diagnosed with POTS last December of 2015. She has the same symptoms as u. Also have your dr do A TILT TABLE TEST.  My daughter's heart rate and blood pressure do the same thing although at times it doesn't go down quick my. Add salt to your diet drink a lot of water and please go see a cardiologist or if u could find one that special sizes in POTS that would benefit you more than a regular cardiologist. If u r getting headache ask for a MRI of your brain to check the pineal gland for cysts. Sending prayers. I know what u r going through. My daughter is only 17 diagnosed at 16
