Starting Florinef... Again...

I visited the doctor today, and it was decided that I should restart Florinef.  To those of you who take (or have taken) Florinef, do you take it in the morning or evening?  In the past I had taken it in the evening, but I don't recall why.  I'll probably start it tomorrow, but I'm not sure what time yet.

As for a PICC, we've decided to wait it out a little longer.  I'm going to try Florinef again first.  I was also perscribed something called Zofran for the nausea, but probably I cannot take it because of my (unrelated) Long QT Syndrome.  It may be something one of you could benefit from though, if you have trouble with nausea.  I'm still hoping I will be able to take it...

I take 19 medications total. So nameing them all may take all night. But I think if you keep at it within time it should get better. Your always welcome to.

I think your comments helped me to keep at it a little longer.  I think I am feeling a bit better today.  I had a headache last night, but not the night before last.  Not yet today either.  I've been diagnosed with Restless Leg Syndrome long before I started taking Florinef, so I'm not sure I'd notice that side effect.  I don't really have trouble with the RLS though, I originally associated it with my ADHD.

So how is everything going?  What other medication are you taking?  I hope you are feeling well, and thank you for the information on Florinef.  I'll let you know how it goes.

I experienced weird side effects like restless leg real bad. Also real bad dreams. I also would sweat alot at night. Weird stuff but they did go away after some time. I am now side effect free after being on it almost 2 years.

The main side effect I get from the Florinef is constant/severe headaches.  I've gotten a couple of stomach aches too, but those weren't so terrible.  I've also been loosing random items around the house.  I'm not entirely sure Florinef is to blame for that, but it's still kind of weird.  I'm glad to hear the side effects get better, what kind of side effects did you experience?

I take daily at night too.  My daughter used to take a half pill in the morning, and a full pill at night.  Now she only takes a half pill in the morning with her IVs.

I was told to take Florinef at bedtime.  How's it going for you?  I'm hating it.  Does anyone know if the side effects get better?

Hi  Florinef should be taken by mouth and the tablets should be swallowed with a drink of water also take either food or a glass of milk at same time as this will help avoid an upset stomache. if YOU ARE TAKINF FLORINEF ONCE A DAY take it in the morning because this is when your body will normally be secreating cortisol anyway. always take your medication at regular intervals.  this is what i got from the bnf online thing. hope this is of use.
