Still getting worse, appointment in 2 weeks though.

I finally had an appointment made to see Dr. Gilden in a little more than 2 weeks from now, although she might not be a specialist I think she's a lot more knowledgeable than all the other nearby doctors.

I been exercising for the last week on a glider (similar to riding a bike) but I still keep feeling worse day by day, I'm really not sure if I'll even be able to make it to the appointment by then but missing it will do me worse. I figured resting will make me worse so I had to start exercising but its making no difference yet. Its good that I'm able to exercise without fainting though. If I do faint anytime soon though that will be a first in a long time and it would mean I'm getting very sick.

Good to see you here again NoFluxes.

Great on getting the appointment!  That is really good news.  Let us know how that goes.
It will be good to have a resource who can help and offer a plan. We all need that.

As for exercise, some people sit on the floor and do stretching or rowing so the blood doesn't pool in their legs.  It is really important not to do more then a little in the beginning and build up slowly.   Resistance exercises can be done sitting on the floor as well.  I have been reading a lot about this as I need a better routine myself.  I sometimes wish they made those low slung "hot wheels" type bikes for adults.  !! (Don't think I would last but a few minutes but it sounds fun and my legs would be out not down.  I would want a purple one of course. )  I have read that exercise can be as little as a few minutes of fast walking interspersed in the day and building up to doing it more times during the day.  It does not need to be all done at once and actually that would be too tiring for most.  The main idea is to keep the body conditioned and to do some aerobic, some strength training, and some resistance exercises,  Not overdoing is as important as doing the exercise.  Too much undoes the good we are trying to achieve.

Christy, the water jogging must have been great fun in the summer for your son.

I am glad you have an appt with a doctor who might be able to help you.  Be careful not to over exercise though.  Exercise is good, but can also throw your symptoms into chaos. So make sure not to over do it.  My son built up a tolerance for water jogging during the summer but it took a couple of weeks.

I hope your appt will bring you answers and a treatment plan that helps,
Christy
