It's been 10 months since onset of symptoms.
When I cough, even a little, I begin to choke and eventually pass out. Sometimes I fade to grey and maintain consciousness, other times racing disjointed thoughts accompany slight convulsions. On several occasions I have become completely syncopic, with no memory. Even clearing my throat or a little hack can set it off. I have active herpes zoster under left axial fossa. Shingles with very painful postherpetic neuralgia.
Was wondering if this is a vasovagal response, or more closely related to the shingles.
Spent 10 days at Cleveland Clinic in January and my cardiovascular system is exceptional - very strong, very efficient, better than perfect for my age. Had every test one would need, save for the one which would point out the shingles. I had symptoms for two months before I got the skin bloom.
Thanks
