florinef not so great....

Hi to all. Hope everyone is had an awesome day :)

A week or so ago I had posted about florinef and how i was not sure if I could take it of not and how it made me feel kinda weird.....Example: after about 4 -5 hours of taking it chest pressure, heart racing, fluttering and flip flopping around, b/p drop and rise and drop and rise...

Anyhow, went to E.P today...took me off and asked if I had heard of anyone taling Cymbalta for NCS.
I replied that I had read about it and heard of a couple on my Dysautonomia Forum who take it, he said to stop the Florinef as my body was not tolerating it (duh) and to try Cybalta saying it was an SSI and it would help to dialate the blood vessels to help raise b/p............

sO HERE IS MY QUESTION......(ooopps those darn caps)......Who takes Cymbalta for any Autonomic Dysfunction and how does it make you feel ans is it working for you?

Thanks,
~Tonya

Thanks for the response :)
Actually the pharmacist told me yesterday that they are now using Cymbalta off label for several differentr things now like chronic pain, cardio issues, ......and I can't remember what else he said...DUH!

There is a member on here.(so sorry I can not think of who it is..I will look then come back) who's daughter was on this for a year then just recently had a relapse of sx.
Thanks again,

oh no Tonya, sorry to hear it didn't work for you - there's not much I can take, they have to balance my ANS and heart problems out and I can't even take OTC stuff without calling my dr.

I can't say I've heard of anyone taking Cymbalta for NSC yet, but with my memory possibly lol

Keep me updated on how it's working so I can ask about it when I go back in June.  It may be a good thing if it does what it's supposed to do because it's supposed to calm your system down also from anxiety etc - which I need.
