?link spinal cord surgery and dysautonomia

I am 46 yrs old and doctor in Uk . 6 yrs ago I hade a neuroenteric cyst removed from my spinal cord in a long op ( 10hrs) I also suffer from klipellfiel syndrom (syndrome), central sleep apnoea and EDD. Followingthe spinal cord suregry I have notice dthat I suffer from extreme variations in body temperature and intense sweating episodes . My ability to exercise has become severly impaired since I tire very easily and seat profusely at even the slightest exertion.

I am wondering if any of this may be related to autonomic dysfunction of some kind since when it occurs i also pass urine frequentluy and in small ammounts. I am just trying to tie all these things into a single diagnostic pathway since it makes more sense to me that i am likelyto have a single diagnosis with several manifest symptoms than to have a variety of different diagnoses . Any ideas?/

I just posted on this forum a couple days ago about a friend of mine that recently sustained a spinal cord injury and is suffering from dysautonomia and now dysreflexia.  I know it is very common with spinal cord injuries and I'm guessing that anything spine related could cause your symptoms. From everything I know it sounds very likely. Do you know if there were any complications in your surgery at all?
