newbie symptoms? please help!

Hi All! I am brand new to this community and was just hoping to get some feedback and insight. First some short background; about 3 yrs ago out of the blue I started suffering some strange symptoms, fatigue (sudden like a light switch) dizzy spells, flue like symptoms, night sweats, leg cramping, etc. I the had a partial hysterectomy and after that things really went downhill. Now I suffer from debilitating lightheadedness, stomach issues, cold body temp so bad I have to have 3 baths a day to keep temp up, I am exhibiting raynauds syndrome, leg weakness, severe head pressure and horrible episodes of racing heart beat that make my head feel like its exploding and I completely lose my balance. Several of the specialists I have seen say it sounds like autonomic dysfunction. Are any of these symptoms similar to anybody else??? Also I am chronically dehydrated even though I drink constantly.....I am soooo lost and frustrated!!! Please help

From my understanding, you can't just drink water without salt or electrolytes or you will make matters worse for yourself.  Have you tried increasing your salt.  I have heard a lot of people drink gatorade.  I drink 1/2 tsp of salt in water before I even get out of bed with 1/2 liter of smart water.  Throughout the day I heavily salt my food, drink V8 juice, and suck on salt tablets if I need them.  I drink at least 2 liters of water with electrolytes a day.

Definitely get yourself to a doctor!  It sounds like Dysautonomia to me, but I am not an MD

Yep.  Definitely sounds like dysautonomia.  I have POTS and I have had everyone of those symptoms that you have described.  You can check yourself for POTS by monitoring your heart rate while standing.  Take it after sitting for awhile and then stand and take it again.  While standing, take it several times.  If it goes up 30 bpm or up to 120 bmp, you more than likely have POTS.  You should definitely have a tilt-table test and autonomic function tests to find out what's going on.  Hope this helps and welcome to the forum.
