Wow how weird to see your question...My son who is turning 5 has done the same thing for as long as i remember...When he was very very littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys he had no interest in the pacifer..and would push it away..instead he began to click as we call it...he does this when he is tired while resting and watching cartoons. To this day thats what he does..we thought it would pass..as its very loud and bothersome when we are trying to sleep..I don't know of a reason or solution..I feel he'll prob. do this forever..His wife will probably not be happy either ..as yours is not happy ..Just wanted to let you know your not alone in this...and well it is involuntary as he just can't stop it....unless he is constantly reminded..sorry
