One week after my client's synthroid of 175 MCG was dropped abruptly to 125 MCG, she has no thyroid, my client was told during a regular cleaning that she had gum disease that required scaling.
Twelve days later she lost half a tooth and the progression of cavities continued until her thyroid output leveled out. There were many adverse affects related to this drop but I am having trouble finding research related to the affect on the teeth.
