My neighbor is 58 years old and has C.O.P.D. She came home from the hospital last month and I have been helping care for her. Yesterday she woke up to blood coming from her ear. While she was awake the bleeding slowed down; when she woke this morning the ear was bleeding heavily again. She does not have any pain in the ear. She says she does have a little soreness behind the ear on her head, but is is only sore if pressed on. Should I bring her to the doctor or is it something that we do not need to worry about?
