because of cost I only tried acupuncture twice and that was many years ago.  The first time it relaxed my body and mind and I was like floating on clouds but the next time I went there was construction going on outside with heavy equipment roaring and men yelling so that time I reaped no benefits.

The first time I had Vertigo the Doc gave me antivert, nasal spray, and muscle relaxant, after that they wouldn't give me muscle relaxants because they were afraid of the law.
That time I stayed in bed for three days and was well for a year until the next February.
I am sitting here with a blocked right ear.

Hi JimBean315,

I am very interested about your personal experience with acupuncture since, I suffer from clogged ears every year, and this year 2014 is taking specially long to get them unclogged.  I do not want to have another ear wash just to have them clogged again in a couple of months. Is it true that acupuncture works? and if it does has it been permanent? or you have to go back to have a treatment after some time? I'd  really appreciate your response.  Thanks in advance

Hi Hava and all,I am going to try your advice and will get back to you with results. For years and years now, Name it, I have it (In the ear symptom department), blocked, painfull ear, swishing sound in ear, popping sounds, tinnitus - everything. Even ended up in the neurologists office with MRI. Mastoiditis diagnosed.(But I agree, most Doctors eventually think you are crazy, especially if you insist you have trouble speaking, as if you cannot hear yourself speak and pronounce properly! ) Enough to drive anyone mad, one's self confidence going for a dive. Speech and hearing definitely connected, even if you are not diagnosed as  deaf. I have noticed that my speech becomes affected if my ears are clogged up more than usual(after a cold). For example, if I pronounce an S it  sounds  differently to me.A person becomes panicky coz you think of other things such as a stroke or MNS. Thanx for advice.
