Can someone help me re tonsilitis

Hi all

I need some help my 5 year old has been put down for her tonsils to be removed due to her re-occurant infections in the past year.... now i do think she needs this, and we have already been on the waiting list for 6 weeks and im told her operation will be first week in december 2010. We had to see her doctor today as she has been having terrible trouble and the doctor has given her antibiotics (which she is reluctent to take).
They keep telling me everything she is going through is due to her tonsils!!
My daughter had 2 groin ops last oct (2009) due to swellings in 2 of her lymphnodes, since then she has had re-occurant illnesses, continous bed wetting, behavioural issues, emotional issues, always lathargic, always pale, always glassy eyed, very unsettled, very very restless at nights, sleepwalking, and now for the past 3 nights she has had the nightsweats!, is this really all due to her tonsils?

My daughters lymphnodes im told are all enlarged down both sides of her neck (top to bottom) with the right being more then the left, she did recently having lymph swelling under her armpits and within the past year inside her groins.
When asked she will say her tummy hurts and her throat (mostly always her tummy).

I dont know what to do, i dont know if im asking the right things, i feel very lost for her, its effecting her school, shes up most of the night and then shes having difficulties at school due to being very tired and feeling unwell.  She has had no bloods done for almost a year now so i dont know what her blood stats are.

It feels like its a process of illimination its like they are removing her tonsils due to them being an issue but are not uncovering other possible issues, i really just need some advice from someone who can help.
