Chicken pox exposure and adenoid/tube surgery

My child was exposed to a child who has chicken pox at school today. He is scheduled to get ear tubes put in (for the 2nd time) and adenoids (adenoids) removed tomorrow. He is 3 and has not had the chicken pox vaccination.

Is this something I need to be concerned about? Do we have to reschedule the surgery? I would like to go ahead and have it if there are no risks.
