Chronic Sinusitis

My CT scan revealed moderately prominent opacification of left side of sphenoid sinus
without air-fluid levels. Obstruction of the left sphenoethmoidal recess. Can you please explain this in layman's terms and what the possible treatment might be?

Sinuses are air filled cavities, if there is evidence of a fluid level, it could most probably indicate an infection or sinusitis. The sinuses open into the nasal cavity and the collections from the sinuses drain into the nose. If this passage is blocked, it can lead to stasis and consequent infections of the sinuses. So, the report evidence of blockage of the opening or recess of the sphenoethmoidal sinuses.

If you don't have scarring, polyps, cysts or any physical anomaly, the best treatment for sphenoid or frontal sinus infection is a Flip Turn Sinus Flush to remove infected mucus.
