Chronic ear infections...options...

I have a 3 1/2 year old who has Turner Syndrome.  I know that girls with Turner Syndrome are more prone to serious middle ear infections, and boy is this true for her!  When she was just four months old she was admited for four days for an unknown infection.  When she was five months old she was diagnosed with left side mastoiditis during her second hospital admission.  She was treated and then admited again before she turned six months old, and showed bilateral mastoiditis.  They placed tubes in her ears at this time.  They did great...only a couple of infections with those tubes in.  When they came out, we decided to have another set of tubes placed in her ears and her adnoids removed.  That second set of tubes are now out.  So far she's been doing ok as far as infections go, but the doctor said he still shows a lot of fluid in her ears.  We go back to the doctor in a month for another check up.

My question is, what would the next step be?  I want to be prepared and well-educated on the subject before I go to the appointment so that I can discuss this with him.
