Chronic nasal congestion

I was operated about 30 years ago for nasal polyp (I am 46 now)which was detected during a routine medical check up.
Last year in the month of Apr i developed severe nasal congestion with relief only coming from nasal drops called Otrivin. An ENT surgeon checked me and gave medicines also stating that there are a number of polyp's in both nostrils. However, after the medicines as the congestion went away there was no problem till 23 Mar this year when about a swim in the pool the similar symptoms started and I have been suffering for the last 12 days. The relief is only from Otrivin. A doctor has prescribed Wysolone.
If the polyp's trouble nly in the month of Apr then is it wise to get operated for them?
I also suffer from Hyper tension 150/96.

The doctor put me on prednisone to shrink the polyps for 6 months at first then I had them out. I now am going to have sinus endoscopy to clean out my clogged sinuses. You may look into that as well. I also was told that I have allergies and need to get on allergy shots that will help me clear up the polyps for good or they will come back again. I also found out that I had a autoimmune deficiency through a blood test that prevented me from fighting off years of sinus infections. I hope that helped.
