I have posted before in regards to constant clogged ears, ringing in the ears, a feeling of movement in my ears and the blurriness in my eyes, sensitive to light and light dizziness that sometimes brings on nausea. I have been suffering with this for over a year, on an everyday basis. The doctors have no answers for me.
Because the symptoms have had me so scared, anxiety has also attacked my body. One year ago, I was a HEALTHY, happy-going person. These symptoms have me depressed. I had a full physical and everything came back fine. Because I thought I was going blind, I went to Kaiser and had a FULL eye exam. The eye exam came back good. Except for minor glaucoma that can take years to progress, the doctor said I need reading glasses. However, there is no way the need for reading glasses can make my eyes blur to the extent that they do.
My biggest mistake was going to the doctors and telling them that I feel depressed. (I am feeling depressed because of the CONTSTANT pain) Now, every time I go to the doctors, they think I am crazy and ask me if I am taking my “depression” medication. Though I filled that (for depression) prescription, I threw the medication out the night I came home with them. The doctors tell me that the symptoms I am feeling are due to the anxiety and that I should be taking my medication so help with the anxiety. They are wrong! I know the pain I feel and I am living with it everyday.
I don’t know what to do anymore. I have spent many dollars at the Whole Wheatery, our local health store. And though the 6 multivitamins I take everyday has helped a HUGE with the anxiety, I am still suffering from the clogged ears, the ringing in my ears, the stuffy head, blurred vision and the cracking in my ears.
I had braces for three years and I honestly believe that the braces affected me the way I am now affected. I am 40 years old and the braces were put on me when I was in my late 30’s. Every time I go to the dentist, I am asked if I had braces. When I tell them yes, they shake their head in discuss. They must be seeing something in my dental x-rays that are very alarming. I am so upset and cry all the time. I have begged God to heal me.
Am I alone in these symptoms? Does anyone else out there have any or all of the above that I have mentioned? Please help me!
If you've got plugged eustachion tubes - here's a possible cure that your ENT probably doesn't know about. Here's my story. I had a head cold and my ears closed up as they usually do, but they didn't reopen. My allergist gave me steroids and a strong antibiodic. After a few days, I was strung out on the steroids - having to take long walks at 2 am to calm down and eventually going to the emergency room with severe anxiety/stress. My allergist said he'd done all he could do and referred me to an excellent ENT. The ENT prescribed steroid based nose sprays to open the tubes. After 2 days, it wasn't working and I was going crazy again. At this time, I went to my chiropractor for my monthly adjustment on my lower back. He asked me how I was feeling and I said, "great, except for my ears - they are plugged up and it's driving me crazy. He looked at me and checked my neck and head and said that I was "locked up" in the neck. He said he had helped other people with clogged ears and explained that nerves leading into the head could cause the muscles in the head to restrict the tubes. He adjusted me, and had me come back the next day and adjusted me again. Two days later, my ears started to open up (I had discontinued the nose sprays after just 2 days because of the side effects). With follow up my ears have opened completely and my hearing is normal.
If you have tried everything, you might consider finding a Gonstead Technique chiropractor (my guy is Dr. Gary Seghi in Austin Texas. He can be reached at (512) 478-1613. I would strongly urge you to seek out a Gonstead Technique chiropractor - there aren't too many of them, but they are trully exceptional.
Thank you for your quick response to my post. I belong to a hiking team and on this team there is a woman I hike with. She recently told me that she suffered severe TMJ 25 years ago. She said she went to a chiropractor who adjusted her face and back and she has not had TMJ in 25 years. She said it came back once and that she went back to the same chiropractor and had it adjusted once more and has never returned. When I received your note I was surprised by what you wrote and surprised to hear that this treatment worked for you as well. I just made an appointment for a chiropractor and when I am done seeing him, I will write you back to let you know how it went. I sure hope this works for me. Thank you for your valuable post to me…I am going to give it a shot. My appointment is July 11th. Wish me luck.
