Could tonsill stones and constant ear ringing be related.

I have had ear ringing for many years.  I have seen a couple doctors and no one has given any solid advise for exactly what is going on with me.  Supposedly my ears look completely normal.  The ringing has increased and both ears ring constantly and with several different tones/pitches.  I have also been noticing my hearing has been affected, and I don not hear as well as I used to...I also have had tonsill stones for many years.  This also went undiagnosed for many years.  I found out what these were all about on the internet.  I was sondering if there were any other people out there that have both of these conditions and wondered if the stones could be part of the problem with the ringing in the ears.
