My 1 1/2 yr old son has a cyst attached to his uvula. His pediatrician has never seen this before and the specialist is giving it 3 weeks or they will consider removing it. Does anyone have any further information about a situation like this or a previous experience?
I have a flesh colored nodule on my uvula that appeared suddenly several years ago but no one seems concerned. Of course I'm 50 ish and and ex smoker. Alot of drs have looked down my throatCancer - throat or larynx Throat swab culture for other reasons but never said I had a problem even when I pointed out the growth.
My son is almost 11 months and he has a white cyst on his uvula. I am so concerned although the pediatrician isn't too concerned. She is referring me to a HNT doctor. I am worried that this could leadLead poisoning to other things. I just don't know anything about this and it worries me to think that my son would have to maybe have surgery. Help? Does anyone know more about this?
Hi Miniplus, I am a 27 year old femaleCondoms Female condoms Female sexual dysfunction from Ireland, I recently had a uvulaectomy due to two cysts that were found on my uvula. The uvula was getting swollenSwollen glands at night time and I would wake up in the morning unable to breathBreath alcohol test Breath holding spell Breath odor and would gag. My GP referred me to an ENT Specialist and they decided to remove my uvula altogether. I am glad to say that I am recovering well from the surgery but it was very painful, they gave me morphine like tablets which I had a bad reaction to and had to stop taking them. I have managed to recover without taking any painkillers what so ever. If you are concerned about your child I would advise you to ask your GP for a referral for a paediatric ENT Specialist in your area. They will be able to best advise you on the best course of action for your child. I will hopefully get the results of my biopsy on the 23rd of this month, so fingers crossed it will all be ok for me and your child.
Has anyone found out any other information about this Topic? My 8 Month old son was just diagnosed with this and the ENT said he has to have surgery ASAP to remove the Cyst and have it biopsied.
