Cysts Behind ears.
I get cysts behind my ears to often. I am 18 and never had a problem until recently. They are usually behind my earlobe. I have had 3 drained in last 6 months. Does anyone know what causes them or what prevents them? Is is some sort of symptom from something more severe?

Sounds a sebaceous cyst and once you have had them the can keep recurring.  You can have it surgically removed which will stop the recurrence in that area.  Some people are prone to get them.

Sebaceous cysts form below the surface of the skin and fill with sebum produced by the sebaceous glands of the epidermis layer of the skin.  They can also be filled with  blood, pus, fibrous tissues or keratinous substance along with the sebum.

I would recommend seeing a Dermatologist to assess the site.
