EAR AND SINUS INFECTION WITH HORRIBLE VERTIGO!!! HELP

was just diagnosed last wednesday with the flu, and then yesterday 5 days later was diagnosed with a sinus and ear infection. for the last couple of days i have had really bad vertigo wether I am standing or sitting, feels kinda like I am drunk all day long, and really spiking my anxiety. I was put on cefdinir but have not even been on it a full 24 hours yet. I was wondering two things. is the vertigo/dizziness normal with these infections and how long until I can expect some relief from this medication?

The question on your prescription is a good one for the prescribing doctor.

I would not be surprised if it takes more than 24 hours to feel noticeable improvement - yes ear infections can cause balance problems.

thank you so much! I am feeling so much better today already! brain fog finally went away and minimul vertigo, mostly when moving quickly!
