Ear Ringing

I have had ear ringing in both ears  for a few weeks. My right ear finally cleared up but my left ear is still ringing and i went and saw an ENT and i had high frequency hearing loss in that ear but no infection or fluid in my ear.  I just got over a cold when this started and I still feel like my head is congested when I wake up in the morning.  The ENT said he thought it woud go away and if not to come back in 30 days for another hearing test and than maybe a CT scan if it is not better.  Has anyone else gont through this and should I be worried?

I am 33 years old and no hearing loss before and like I said came on right after a cold.  Can it take 30 days to clear up?

I have also had ringing for a long time now.  Actually its worse when I take cold or allergy meds.  I have learned to sort of block it out or it drives you crazy.  I have told doctors about it but no one seems concerned or offered anything that could help.  I took a lot of meds for sinus over the years and also took a lot of Naproxin for back pain before my surgery.  I have since read some of these things cause ringing in the ears. Wish I knew it before I took them.
